Emmanuel Congregation
Emmanuel Community of Christ is a welcoming congregation committed to proclaiming Jesus Christ and fostering communities of Love, Joy, Hope, and Peace. Located at 28 Pheasant Pvt. Dr., Decatur, AL 35603, we offer a place for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Led by Pastor Timothy Graben, we strive to create an environment where everyone can experience God’s love and build meaningful connections with others. HART Ministries
They began their ministry on the streets of Kansas City, Missouri, in 2004, meeting three days a week to provide meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, prayer, worship, pastoral care, showers, and resource referrals. Even after losing their building, their dedication to offering love, support, prayer, and resources never wavered. Instead, they turned their focus to the Christmas Box Project, a ministry they had been faithfully running since 2002.
The First People
First People Community of Christ is a non-geographic congregation that welcomes all to worship and fellowship. Services are held on Sundays at 6:00 p.m. CST and are accessible online via Zoom. The congregation is led by Pastor Ellison Beggs (Ellison.Beggs@gmail.com, who is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive spiritual community.
CCM Leadership Team
The Community of Christ Leadership Team (CCM) is composed of dedicated individuals who provide spiritual guidance, administrative oversight, and community support within the mission center. This team fosters discipleship, organizes events, and manages resources to ensure the mission center thrives. By nurturing faith, promoting collaboration, and engaging in outreach, the CCM leadership plays a vital role in building and sustaining a Christ-centered community.
